Living close to the environment in rural Vermont allows me to create independently and without distraction. In addition to producing the finest maple products from our beautiful maple forest, I make my living from professional sleight-of-hand performances and freelance photography and framing. I have a BS in zoology and an MS in botany, served as a Peace Corps Volunteer and recruiter, was a high-school science teacher, conducted field surveys for the U.S. Forest Service, and taught ecology, photography, and magic courses with Elder Hostel Inc. for over ten years. I also circumnavigated the globe, solo cycled across the US and Canada, and was a natural history guide in many countries.
